June 21, 2012 - First Day of New Concrete Paving on Runway 1/19

June 21, 2012 - Phase 1 Concrete Paving Begins!

Today the contractor began Concrete paving on the Runway 1/19 project.  The weather was great and the project is moving along quite nicely.

June 13, 2012 - Phase 1 Runway Removal Complete:

Phase 1 Runway 1/19 Pavement Removal is finishing up.  The contractor is making good progress on the project.

June 5, 2012 - Construction Starts on Runway 1/19

Construction started today with the Pavement Removal on the north end of Runway 1/19 at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.  The Runway 19 threshold has been relocated to south of Runway 7/25. 

Runway 7/25 remains open at it's full length.
